Experienced Customer Service Support Representative – Patient Care and Billing Resolution

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Customer Service Support Representative. As a key member of our Patient Customer Service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers through inbound calls, email, and other communication channels. Your primary goal will be to resolve patient billing inquiries efficiently and effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers, providing timely and accurate support to resolve billing inquiries
- Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, including but not limited to:
+ Patient records and billing information + Insurance carrier information and policies + arenaflex's internal systems and processes
- Maintain performance goals, including but not limited to:
+ First-call resolution rates + Average handle time + Customer satisfaction ratings
- Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program
- Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications, including but not limited to:
+ arenaflex's customer relationship management (CRM) system + Electronic health records (EHRs) + Billing and insurance systems
- Alpha-Numeric data entry proficiency, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Remote work from a dedicated home workspace, with a reliable internet connection and necessary equipment
Requirements:
* Previous medical and/or call center experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to connect equipment to a router/modem with an Ethernet cord (equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi, mobile routers, or mobile hotspots with an Ethernet port)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to:
+ Word + Excel + Outlook
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion
