About the Role:

We are looking for Distributed Systems Engineers to join our team and help us build and enhance our infrastructure. As a Distributed Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable, high-performance systems that can handle large volumes of data. You will work closely with our data platform teams to develop and maintain our data infrastructure, ensuring that it is secure, reliable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, build, and deploy scalable, high-performance systems that can handle large volumes of data

• Collaborate with our data platform teams to develop and maintain our data infrastructure
• Ensure that our data infrastructure is secure, reliable, and efficient
• Work closely with our engineering teams to integrate our data infrastructure with other systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of our open-source projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our data infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in distributed systems and data engineering

Database Access Stage:

We are building and maintaining an adaptable query engine that works with data reflections to achieve sub-millisecond latencies while allowing Netflix microservices to store, consume, and manage their data more efficiently.

Data Stage Foundation:

We provide a platform for our own data platforms, enabling Netflix to rapidly enhance on giving cutting-edge data and analytics frameworks to the rest of the organization without building customized platforms for each new framework.

Big Data Figure:

We are responsible for providing the cloud-native stage for distributed data processing at Netflix, offering support for Flash, ETL data into the Petabytes-scale data center, and access that data using Flash and Voila/TrinoDB.

Big Data Arrangement:

We offer the stage for planning, organizing, and executing big data jobs and workflows in a self-serve way, incorporating basic services that have all ETL and ML responsibilities running on Big Data Frameworks at Netflix.

Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
