Job Summary

As an experienced bookkeeping software customer support specialist, you'll play a critical role in assisting customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software is required, and you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients across different industries. This is a remote, independent contractor role that provides customer support via phone, offering the flexibility to work from home and create your own schedule.

Earnings Potential

* Earn up to $20.40 per hour: Contractors are guaranteed a minimum of 45 minutes for each hour if available for the full 60 minutes.

• Flexible schedule opportunities: You create your own schedule, and we offer flexible scheduling options to fit your needs.

Schedule

* Flexible schedule opportunities: Schedule available hours between 8 am and 8 pm CST, Monday - Friday.

Skills Needed

* Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software: You'll need to be proficient in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software to assist customers with their accounting needs.

• Bookkeeping/accounting expertise: You'll need to have bookkeeping/accounting expertise to include AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, etc.
• Customer service experience: You'll need to have customer service experience and demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment.
• Comfort with cross-selling: You'll need to be comfortable with cross-selling relevant products while addressing customer concerns.
• Strong ownership of customer issues: You'll need to take ownership of customer issues and provide confident resolution.
• Tech savvy: You'll need to be tech savvy and an avid computer user.
• Friendly tone and professional demeanor: You'll need to communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor.

Work Environment Requirements

* Quiet, uninterrupted space: You'll need a quiet, uninterrupted space to work from home.

• Organized desk area: You'll need an organized desk area to ensure you can focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Technology Requirements

* Personal computer: You'll need a personal computer (no tablet).

• Broadband internet connection: You'll need a broadband internet connection with at least 10 Mbps download speed.
• Wired internet connection: You'll need a wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet).
• Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system: You'll need a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.
• Valid antivirus software: You'll need valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date.
• Wired USB headset with microphone: You'll need a wired USB headset with microphone.
• Mac users: Mac users will need to use Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple’s Boot Camp utility.

Important Information

* Location: You must live and work from the United States, except CA, NY, PA, WA. We are currently unable to work with contractors residing in California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington.

• Criminal background check: Contractors must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Contractual relationship: The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with arenaflex.
