Job Summary
As an Experienced Customer Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting Shopify store owners in managing their day-to-day operations and customer interactions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional live chat customer support to businesses' customers via their websites and social media accounts
- Troubleshooting and resolving customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Guiding customers through their purchasing process and providing detailed product information
- Collaborating with business owners to understand their specific needs and preferences
- Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed support
Key Responsibilities
* Live Chat Customer Support: + Handle incoming customer support questions via live chat on businesses' websites and social media accounts + Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner + Troubleshoot and resolve customer queries and concerns
- Customer Engagement:
+ Guide customers through their purchasing process + Provide detailed product information and recommendations + Collaborate with business owners to understand their specific needs and preferences
- Product Knowledge:

Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, communications) preferred
- 1+ year of customer support experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in using technology, including social media and website chat functions
- Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
- Availability of 10+ hours per week
