Job Summary

As a Property & Casualty Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing inbound calls, emails, and chats from pet parents, providing solutions for their pet insurance needs, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with our team to optimize sales processes, build strong relationships with customers, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of pet insurance products, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of sales success.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from pet parents for the purpose of selling pet insurance policies

  • Manage time and other resources to ensure sales goals are met consistently
  • Handle all interactions promptly and effectively to minimize wait times
  • Build rapport with potential customers to reinforce the value of arenaflex's brand and pet insurance products
  • Build strong knowledge of products and services offered
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize sales processes and improve customer retention
  • Provide solutions to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills

* High school diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Proven attendance reliability
  • Flexible schedule requirements, with the ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Current active resident property and casualty insurance license (General P&C, not Personal Lines)
  • Licenses must remain active throughout the duration of the assignment
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills
  • Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections
  • Articulate, professional, and possesses a strong quality sales mindset with attention to detail
  • Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet

Preferred Qualifications

* Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably a direct sales environment

  • Insurance industry sales experience
  • Service industry and/or Contact Center experience
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills
  • Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections
  • Articulate, professional, and possesses a strong quality sales mindset with attention to detail
  • Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet

Training and Onboarding

* Training schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST, for two weeks, plus one week of nesting

  • Training start date: October 7, 2024
  • Must be able to attend training sessions without any absences or tardiness

Work Schedule

* Flex schedule between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm, Monday to Friday

  • One weekend a month on a rotating schedule
  • Permanent shift will be assigned after the initial training period
