Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and safety of our online community by enforcing our community guidelines and rules. This is a part-time, remote position that requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for conflict resolution. Key Responsibilities

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and adhere to our community guidelines

• Delete messages that violate our rules, including hate speech, harassment, and spam
• Ban users who repeatedly violate our rules, and mute users who have committed minor infractions
• Investigate reports from users about potential rule violations, and take appropriate action
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies that promote a positive and inclusive online environment
• Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Stay up-to-date with our community guidelines and rules, and provide feedback to our team on how to improve our moderation processes

Essential Qualifications

* 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience as a moderator or administrator in online communities

• Knowledge of community guidelines and rules development
• Familiarity with social media platforms and online engagement strategies
• Experience with customer service and support
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
