Job Responsibilities

As a Central Air Expert at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment (e.g., boilers, chillers, and air handling units/controls)
• Performing minor pipes and mechanical works for air conditioning systems and equipment, as required
• Screening and examining central air plant/hardware, switches, valves, checks, alarms, safety devices, and meters to identify defects or malfunctions, and to ensure that equipment is working effectively and safely
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, and coordinating with other maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues with air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that our facilities are always running smoothly and efficiently

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• At least 3 years of experience in air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• A valid driver's license
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A Central Air Certification
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and supplies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Familiarity with OSHA and other safety regulations
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with PTAC A/C Units, VTAC A/C Units, Water Source Intensity Pump, Make Up Air A/C Rooftop Top Unit, Natural Air A/C Units, and Split A/C Units

• Experience with refrigeration equipment, including reach-in freezers, reach-in coolers, walk-in coolers and freezers, and ice machines
• Experience with chiller systems, cooling towers, and evaporator systems
• Experience with water radiators and other related equipment
• Familiarity with maintenance software and inventory management systems
• Experience with lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols

As a Central Air Expert at arenaflex, you will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to perform a variety of tasks, including:

• Lifting, carrying, and moving heavy equipment and supplies
• Working in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings
• Standing, walking, and bending for long periods of time
• Using hands and fingers to handle, move, or gather small objects
• Making fast and precise adjustments to machine controls
• Determining the distance between objects
• Changing body movements or equipment controls to stay up with speed changes of moving objects
