Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Concierge Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, navigating complex healthcare systems, and resolving issues with ease. Responsibilities

As a Concierge Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to telephone and email inquiries from clients and providers within defined service standards
  • Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out-of-network providers
  • Assisting clients with benefits and healthcare questions
  • Documenting all calls received in system-based call log
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to provide expert guidance to clients

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred
  • At least one year of experience in customer service or call center roles, preferably in a healthcare-related setting
  • Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience is a plus
  • Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus
  • Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and strong computer skills
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills
  • Knowledge of provider organizations and networks
  • Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
  • Ability to effectively negotiate rate structures
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with claim processing, insurance verification, or pre-certification

  • Understanding of Self-Funded health benefits
  • Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience
  • Strong analytical and research skills

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role is a remote position, requiring prolonged sitting in front of a computer. You'll need to have hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, including computers and phone systems.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Hourly rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
