Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our policyholders and interested third parties via inbound calls, emails, and written correspondence. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment, handling an average of 70-120 calls per day. Your primary focus will be on resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, while maintaining adherence to our operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle high-volume inbound calls, emails, and written correspondence from policyholders and interested third parties

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and professionally
  • Review and maintain new and revised procedures regarding policy information
  • Ensure customer needs are met on every interaction, exceeding customer satisfaction expectations
  • Maintain department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills and knowledge

Requirements

* 1+ years of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment

  • Additional experience in a receptionist role or a similar position where you commonly took calls on a daily basis (strict requirement)
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong remote experience (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps upload and 20 Mbps download speed, hard-wired connection)
  • Smartphone for VPN access
  • Quiet and professional work environment
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm
  • Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Excellent organization and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Insurance industry experience (considered a plus but not a requirement)

  • Ability to obtain a fire extinguisher for home use (safety requirement)

Training and Development

* 2-3 weeks of comprehensive training in a classroom setting (Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST)

Work Environment and Culture

* Work from home in a quiet and professional environment

  • Nationwide (excluding Houston, TX, Miami, FL, New York, California, Hawaii, Washington, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Vermont, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maine, and Wyoming)
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Flexible scheduling with a 40-hour workweek (Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6:30pm CST)
  • No weekend shifts unless overtime is presented on the weekend
  • Full-time positions only (no part-time)
