This position is an integral part of the Data Innovation Group within the Data Innovation Division at arenaflex. As a Data Entry Technician, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our end-users in all aspects of client computing, including software/hardware installations, upgrades, and general maintenance of PC workstations and peripherals.
Key Responsibilities
* Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-user workstations and peripherals
- Answer client care issues raised from the Helpdesk
- Contribute to desktop projects (global installs/renovations) as a project team member
- Remotely diagnose and resolve issues using remote tools
- Investigate and collaborate with other departments to assist with system-related issues
- Record client interactions in incident management software, including resource management
- Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration
- Maintain remote access for virtual private network (VPN) availability as well as remote/broadband connectivity for workstations
- Install and configure local and network-based printers
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be available to come in on short notice and travel as required
- Follow management direction, complying with IT strategy and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree and prior professional training + Associate's/4-year certification in Computer Science, Data Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience/training
Preferred Qualifications
+ 2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and hardware issues + First-hand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment + A+ certification + MCSE/MCP or higher + Past IT foundation experience in an Aircraft/Airport climate
Essential Skills, Licenses, and Certificates
* General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10
- Familiarity with workflow and tagging systems
- Knowledge of VPN networks and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
