The Role

As a Chat Operator at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our company in the online world. You'll engage in online conversations with customers, representing our automotive dealer clients favorably and turning conversations into leads that help our clients generate revenue. Your goal is to provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues efficiently, and create a positive experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage in online conversations with customers via chat, email, or phone

  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions
  • Use your gaming experience to create a fun and engaging experience for customers
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with our team to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

* Must live within the state of Iowa (IA)

  • Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
  • Computer must have a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, 64-bit Operating System, and 8th Generation Intel Core (i3 equivalent or higher)
  • Quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions (this is a remote position)
  • Able to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT
  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
  • Gaming experience is preferred

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (communications, marketing, etc.) preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in the automotive industry or a related field

  • Knowledge of CRM software and customer service platforms
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Experience with online chat platforms and customer service software

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
