Big Language Solutions is seeking highly skilled linguists to join our team. At Big Language Solutions, we believe in connecting the world through communication. Position Overview We are currently seeking experienced Linguists to support an upcoming opportunity within the healthcare sector . This role involves QA and Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) of clinical and patient-related communications, including appointments, prescriptions, and general healthcare documentation. We are particularly interested in the following language combinations:
- English US to Spanish US
- Spanish US to English US
Responsibilities
- Perform MTPE and quality assurance tasks as needed
- Be responsive to emails and/or phone calls
- Manage multiple assignments and meet short turnaround times while maintaining high-quality work.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the integrity of sensitive information.
Requirements
- Must use Word and PDF
- Experience with
Trados Studio and MemoQ preferred
- Minimum of
5 years of professional experience as a translator
- Experience in
Medical / Life Sciences (clinical or patient-facing content preferred)
- Experience with proofreading and editing is a plus
- Successful completion of a short healthcare terminology test
