About the Role

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company databases and computer systems. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting and entering data into our systems, verifying the accuracy of the data, and ensuring that our records are up-to-date and secure. You'll work closely with our data team and Data Manager to achieve our goals and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

* Verifies and logs receipt of data to ensure timely and accurate processing

  • Transcribes source data into the required electronic format, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
  • Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software, meeting productivity and quality standards
  • Verifies the integrity of data by comparing it to source documents, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintains a filing system and protects confidential customer information, adhering to data protection policies and procedures
  • Performs regular backups to ensure data preservation and availability
  • Responds to requests to retrieve data from the database or electronic filing system, providing timely and accurate support
  • Uses basic office equipment, such as photocopy machines and facsimile machines, as required
  • Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards, completing additional assigned tasks as required
  • Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

* Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong track record of accuracy and productivity

  • Experience with MS Office and data programs, including spreadsheets and databases
  • Familiarity with administrative duties, including office equipment and procedures
  • Experience using office equipment, such as fax machines and scanners
  • Typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to meet productivity standards
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, with a strong attention to detail
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive customer information
  • Organization skills, with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
