About the Role
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and supporting our cloud-based data pipelines and systems. You'll work closely with our Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data pipelines and systems using a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data solutions, and implement data pipelines
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data sets, and data visualizations to support business intelligence and analytics
- Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data pipeline reliability and efficiency
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of data solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS
- Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
- Experience with Docker and containerization
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Proficiency in cloud design and product development, ideally with AWS
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
- Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
