Key Responsibilities

As a Part Time Seasonal Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for supporting the Customer Service team in various capacities, including:

  • Ticket Agent: You will be the first point of contact for our customers, guiding and assisting them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process. Your responsibilities will include:

+ Using a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets + Managing the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper documentation for travel + Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts + Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

  • Gate Agent: You will assist our customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding, ensuring a smooth and pleasant travel experience. Your responsibilities will include:

+ Using computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements, flight status, checking, and handling baggage + Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors + Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent to be eligible for this role.
  • Safety-Conscious Behavior: You must consistently prioritize safety and security, both for yourself and others.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: You must be able to work effectively with a diverse range of people, thinking, and styles.
  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for this role.
  • Physical Abilities: You must be able to frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds.
  • Language Skills: You must be fluent in both written and oral English, and be able to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Authorization to Work: You must be authorized to live and work in the country where you are applying.

  • Entry-Level Computer Skills: You must have basic computer skills, including the ability to use a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets.

  • Fluency in Spanish: While not required, fluency in Spanish will give you a competitive edge in this role.
