Key Responsibilities
As a Phone and Chat Specialist at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries
- Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions
- Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives to meet their requirements
- Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide exceptional customer service
- Performing data entry and customer service tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Navigating online systems efficiently to verify nurses' credentials and process requests
- Working with customers to resolve issues and provide solutions, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times
- Cross-training in various tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure flexibility and adaptability
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
- 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
- Technical savvy and ability to navigate online systems efficiently
- Previous remote work from home experience a plus
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently
- Type 35 words per minute accurately
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills, including active listening
- A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- Starting pay: $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
- Work hours: Shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm (CST) Work Days: Mon-Fri and rotating weekends
- Paid Training: 3 weeks in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (CST)
- Status: Full Time 40 hours

To ensure your success in this role, you'll need to meet the following equipment and software requirements:
- Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
- Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
- Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required
- USB headset
- Up-to-date antivirus software must be installed on the platform and a recent scan completed
- Firewall must be enabled
