Job Summary

As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, answering a wide range of inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with colleagues to ensure that our members receive the highest level of service and support.

Responsibilities

* Answer incoming member and provider calls and respond to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits and programs, etc.

  • Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable to ensure seamless communication and data transfer.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.
  • Work from home and prove to be self-sufficient, with the ability to commute to the office in Princeton, NJ when necessary.

Required Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent GED.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to work from home and be self-sufficient.
  • Must commute to the office in Princeton, NJ when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working remotely in a call center setting.

  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
