The Global Merchant and Network Services (GM&NS) Pricing team at arenaflex is responsible for driving the company's largest source of revenue: Merchant Discount Income. This team works closely with colleagues across the organization to determine the optimal pricing strategy that enables merchant acceptance of arenaflex while improving inclusion and merchant satisfaction. By leveraging client-driven pricing standards, adaptable pricing engineering, and innovative pricing solutions, we drive GM&NS income and profit growth.

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Financial Analysis and Reporting team, you'll be responsible for determining and reporting merchant discount income. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's financial performance and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop a Canada figure for merchant discount income and track monthly performance against forecast, identifying drivers of change

• Create vendor discount income scorecards for the Canada region
• Drive normalization and process improvement among the different local pricing teams for all reporting and determining related activities
• Support external reviews, including investigating issues found, communicating with regional pricing teams to discuss issues, and managing goals
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to assess rebate rate trends and uncover insights

Essential Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments industry, or other finance-related roles

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business required; Master's degree in finance or related field preferred
• High proficiency in Excel required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop complex financial models and draw valuable insights from large datasets
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL) required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence others in situations where there may be multiple objectives
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI

• Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience working in a client-facing role, with a focus on client satisfaction and problem-solving
