Responsibilities:

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative (Call Center) at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering high volumes of incoming calls and placing outbound calls using established service standards, phone/email/chat etiquette, and communications scripts
  • Responding to patient inquiries as they relate to healthcare services, demonstrating high levels of comprehensive customer service as a Brand Ambassador
  • Determining the best course of action for phone calls, emails, and chat messages, and taking necessary action to convert calls to scheduled appointments for arenaflex clinics
  • Reviewing insurance eligibility for applicable callers and communicating with the virtual benefits team to verify eligibility as appropriate per protocol
  • Verifying that all information is accurate and updated at each patient contact point
  • Contacting and scheduling referral patients with high levels of comprehensive customer service and following up with referral partners as appropriate to maintain positive relationships and efficient patient information transfer
  • Documenting in patient management system and shared tracking files the results of contact
  • Maintaining strict patient/client confidentiality at all times
  • Directing non-patient care-related communications to the appropriate person or department

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
  • 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in using technology, including phone systems, email, and chat platforms
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information

Hours of Operations:

* Monday-Friday: 6:00am-6:00pm PST

  • Saturday: 8:00am-4:00pm PST (all representatives are required to work 1 Saturday a month)
