Experienced Full Stack Customer Engineer – Distributed Cloud Solutions and Strategic Pursuits

As a Customer Engineer in arenaflex Distributed Cloud, you'll work closely with our sales and pre-sales teams to offer and deliver complex distributed cloud solutions, leveraging your technical expertise to lead conversations on cutting-edge cloud offers and drive decisions that align with arenaflex services and delivery team innovation and capabilities.

Responsibilities
As a Customer Engineer in arenaflex Distributed Cloud, you'll be responsible for:
- Creating and executing on new cloud offers, developing a business case, securing alignment from respective teams, addressing budget needs, and driving executive buy-in to secure customers and scale offers to the field once proven successful.
- Serving as a technical advisor and point of contact for strategic customers and accounts with non-standard requests and innovation needs.
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with senior cross-functional key stakeholders in customer and/or partner organizations to deliver or manage quality technical solutions and services.
- Collaborating with internal or external developers/users/partners/clients/stakeholders to strategize surrounding solution code development.
- Traveling to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, acting as a public advocate for arenaflex and promoting our cloud solutions.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- At least 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- 8 years of experience in system design and one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
- 3 years of experience using ML/AI and building solutions.
- Experience with edge computing, distributed systems, or data center transformation.
- Proven ability to engage with and present to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese to interact with local stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
- Experience in data and information management as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses.
- Experience managing distributed teams on large-scale programs globally.
- Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
