Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Transferring confidential data from paper and/or electronic formats into our billing software (Timeslips) using a keyboard, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Typing in data provided directly from staff, adhering to our high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Verifying data by comparison and generating reports, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
• Sorting and organizing paperwork (electronic and hard copy) following data entry, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless data entry and processing, while also contributing to the development of our internal processes and procedures.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in basic math and computer skills.
• Prior work experience in data entry, preferably in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office.
• Typing proficiency, with a minimum speed of 45 wpm accuracy and no errors.
• A basic understanding of internal processes and med-legal terminology, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:

• Experience working with billing software, such as Timeslips.
• Familiarity with medical facilities and med-legal terminology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve errors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
