Scope of the Role

As a Customer Service Representative – FNOL Claims Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for policyholders reporting losses or damages. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering relevant information, such as policy details, incident specifics, and contact information
  • Clarifying coverage terms as needed
  • Offering clear and empathetic guidance to policyholders on next steps in the claims process
  • Explaining the required documentation and information needed to process the claim
  • Accurately recording all information gathered during the FNOL process in the company's claims management system
  • Ensuring completeness and accuracy of claim reports
  • Liaising with claims adjusters and inspectors to schedule assessments and inspections, if necessary
  • Providing adjusters with detailed information regarding the reported loss
  • Addressing any concerns or questions the policyholder may have
  • Ensuring all FNOL processes adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
  • Providing feedback to management on ways to improve the FNOL process for enhanced customer satisfaction and efficiency

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree is a plus)

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar customer service role, preferably in the property and casualty insurance industry
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of property and casualty insurance policies, coverage, and claims processed is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Bilingual (English & Spanish)

  • Experience working in a remote setting
  • Familiarity with claims management systems and software

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Familiarity with claims management systems and software

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
