What You'll Be Doing

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be the difference between an average and exceptional customer experience. Your passion and strong product and brand knowledge will shine through as you:

  • Recommend upgrades to customers' health plans with empathy and understanding
  • Conduct research and make outbound calls to provide answers to customers' general health care benefit and eligibility questions, as well as enrollment status requests for new and existing members
  • Assist members with logging into and understanding the functionality of their online health account, locating doctor and facility information

* You'll work from the comfort of your own home, with a supportive team and the latest technology to help you succeed

  • You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives, providing support and guidance to customers in need

What You Bring to the Role

* 6 months or more of customer service experience, with a passion for helping others

  • Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy, just as you would expect if it were your private information being shared
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication and problem-solving
  • Computer experience, with a reliable high-speed internet connection (> 15 mbps)
  • A USB wired headset (or a compatible alternative), as well as a smartphone or device that runs IOS or Android (iPad, etc.) for daily log-in

Reporting and Team Dynamics

You'll report to a Team Lead, who will provide guidance and support to help you succeed in your role. You'll contribute to the success of the customer experience and the overall success of the team, working collaboratively with your colleagues to achieve our shared goals.
