Job Summary
As a Senior Manager Care Management, you'll be responsible for leading a team of care managers, developing and implementing care management strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including administrative and certifying organizations, to drive quality improvement initiatives and achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of care managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Develop and implement care management strategies, policies, and procedures that align with arenaflex's mission and values
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Texas Medicaid and NCQA standards
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive quality improvement initiatives and achieve business objectives
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions
- Develop and maintain relationships with administrative and certifying organizations to ensure seamless coordination and communication
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for staff, ensuring that candidates meet the necessary qualifications and competencies
- Create, implement, and evaluate performance expectations, providing regular feedback and coaching to team members
- Lead regular team meetings and provide guidance on care management best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive quality improvement initiatives
Essential Qualifications
* Master's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, nursing, social work)
- 7+ years of experience in clinical care management, with a focus on leadership and quality improvement
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing care management strategies, policies, and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare technology systems
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Texas Medicaid and NCQA standards
Preferred Qualifications
* Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification
- Experience with Texas Medicaid, specifically TX STAR and CHIP programs
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, nursing, social work)
- 3+ years of experience with PC, keyboard navigation, and MS Office Suite applications
