Job Description:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our Medicare department on a contract-to-hire basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in handling claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and other customer inquiries. Your primary focus will be to provide top-notch service, resolving problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle inbound calls from customers, addressing their queries, and resolving issues related to claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and other Medicare-related matters.

  • Provide empathetic and professional service, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to resolve complex problems, using effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Navigate multiple systems simultaneously to access customer information and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first-call resolution, and customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in customer service, Medicare regulations, and industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a call center environment (inbound calls only)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages clearly and professionally over the phone.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide solutions.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Must score 80% or above on the eSkills test.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Healthcare industry experience

  • Previous Medicare experience
  • Call center customer service experience (inbound calls)
  • Medical background (helpful but not required)
