Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for steering problematic prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, communicating with doctors and insurance agencies, mediating cases, and utilizing exceptional data entry skills to support your success. You will work in a high-volume environment, performing multiple tasks between processing prescriptions while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, precision, excellent skills, customer focus, team leadership, critical thinking abilities, strong written and oral communication, and solid computer skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Steer problematic prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion

• Communicate with doctors and insurance agencies to resolve issues
• Mediate cases to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Utilize exceptional data entry skills to support your success
• Perform multiple tasks between processing prescriptions while maintaining excellent customer service
• Collaborate with the Specialty Mail Request team to ensure seamless operations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions and patient information

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

• Pharmacy Technician Certification in the state of GA
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Data entry experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* Specialty pharmacy experience

• Prescription settlement experience to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and review solution guarantee issues
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software
