Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative Team Lead at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading a team of customer service representatives who provide exceptional service to Medicaid eligible consumers in Salt Lake County. You will be the face of arenaflex, answering incoming calls, researching and providing referrals to providers/agencies, and utilizing a computer database to verify Medicaid eligibility.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a team of customer service representatives who provide exceptional service to Medicaid eligible consumers in Salt Lake County

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Research and provide referrals to providers/agencies in Salt Lake County to Medicaid eligible consumers
  • Utilize a computer database to verify Medicaid eligibility and provide accurate information to customers
  • Offer additional information such as phone numbers or addresses to individuals who have contacted the wrong organization
  • Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned that support the Care Coordination team
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to ensure they are meeting performance expectations
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements

* High School Diploma / GED

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 2+ years of customer service experience working with the insurance, medical, behavioral health setting or financial technology
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM EST from Sunday - Saturday (October - March) and 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM EST from Monday - Friday (April - September)
  • Ability to work occasional overtime as needed
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to understand multiple services and multiple benefit plans for Medicaid
  • Familiarity with Financial Health Technology (preferred)

Telecommuting Requirements

* Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Compensation

* Hourly range: $19.47 - $38.08 per hour (based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
