Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for resolving complex patient billing inquiries and problems, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering patient calls and resolving complex billing inquiries and problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing exceptional customer service through clear, concise communication and a positive attitude
  • Ensuring a positive patient experience on every interaction
  • Processing patient payments and establishing payment plans
  • Making outbound calls to collect outstanding patient balances
  • Following up on interdepartmental issues, emails, and voicemails
  • Maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong customer service excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, colleagues, and management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and implement verbal and written direction
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in Spanish a plus, but not required

Education and Experience

* One (1) year of revenue cycle experience in a healthcare organization is required

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic understanding of Medical Insurance required
  • Experience in customer service, medical billing, or a related field is highly desirable
