Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for resolving complex patient billing inquiries and problems, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering patient calls and resolving complex billing inquiries and problems in a timely and professional manner
- Providing exceptional customer service through clear, concise communication and a positive attitude
- Ensuring a positive patient experience on every interaction
- Processing patient payments and establishing payment plans
- Making outbound calls to collect outstanding patient balances
- Following up on interdepartmental issues, emails, and voicemails
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Strong customer service excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, colleagues, and management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently with little supervision
- Demonstrated ability to understand and implement verbal and written direction
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Proficiency in Spanish a plus, but not required
Education and Experience
* One (1) year of revenue cycle experience in a healthcare organization is required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of Medical Insurance required
- Experience in customer service, medical billing, or a related field is highly desirable
