Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Security Platform Engineer to join our team of experts in designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust cloud security posture. As a Cloud Security Platform Engineer, you'll work closely with our SOC teams and cloud specialists to configure, execute, and maintain a powerful cloud security tasks climate. You'll create and automate cloud security monitoring and alerting to ensure timely detection and response to security incidents. You'll also lead the development of cloud security playbooks for episode reaction automation and organization, and coordinate the enhancement of cloud security tools within the SOC climate to streamline occurrence reaction workflows.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with SOC teams and cloud specialists to design, implement, and maintain a robust cloud security posture

• Create and automate cloud security monitoring and alerting to ensure timely detection and response to security incidents
• Develop and refine functional playbooks for cloud security episode reaction automation and organization
• Coordinate and enhance cloud security tools within the SOC climate to smooth out occurrence reaction work processes
• Lead the development of cloud security activities skills to improve threat recognition, response, and overall security posture
• Participate in security incident response and collaborate with colleagues to create and maintain effective security best practices and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve cloud security posture and incident response

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

• 6 years of experience with cloud security, security incident response, and/or security operations
• 6 years of experience with a programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.)
• Experience working with security incident response, investigation, and remediation activities
• Experience with network security, malware analysis, cloud security, and system and memory security
• Secret US Government Trusted status

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with SIEM event analysis, emergency, and examination

• Experience with Security Effect Appraisal and Formal Disclosure
• Experience with Specialized Prerequisites Advancement of SecStack Tooling (e.g., SPULK, ElasticSearch, Google Secops/Account + SCC, Trellix Endpoint Recognition and Response EDR, IDS/IPS, etc.)
• Experience with Level 1 Investigator Support and Specialized Mentorship
• Security Incident Management knowledge, using standard collaboration tools (e.g., ServiceNow) to archive and manage the lifecycle of an incident

Skills and Competencies

* Strong understanding of cloud security standards and best practices

• Experience with GCP and Windows security tools and technologies
• Ability to automate tasks and stay ahead of emerging threats
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
