Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls from customers, providing general information, and assisting with health care coverage applications
- Responding effectively to all forms of inbound and outbound contacts, including phone calls, emails, and chats
- Tracking and documenting all inquiries using our systems, ensuring accurate and timely resolution
- Transferring or referring customers to appropriate entities according to established guidelines
- Facilitating the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download
- Providing translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures
- Escalating calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed
- Attending meetings and trainings as requested, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all programs and systems
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED, with at least 6 months of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong data entry and telephone skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
- Previous experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets is preferred
- Previous experience in customer service and call center environments is preferred

Annual salary is just one component of our total compensation package, which may include short- and long-term incentives, program-specific awards, and other benefits.
