Job Summary

As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you'll lead the Adversarial Abuse team responsible for identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, engagement manipulation, and other forms of adversarial abuse. You'll also oversee the Business Investigation team, which produces insights, estimates uncaught badnesses, and distributes Transparency Reports for countries worldwide. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of emerging threats and drive business growth through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, engagement manipulation, and other forms of adversarial abuse

  • Oversee the Business Investigation team, which produces insights, estimates uncaught badnesses, and distributes Transparency Reports for countries worldwide
  • Collaborate with the Strategy Development team to create policies using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior
  • Develop and execute effective functional execution (e.g., quality, service levels) in a global team working 24×7
  • Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times, provide data-driven insights, and implement solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners to launch new products and strategies that effectively prevent adversarial abuse
  • Engage, retain, develop, and foster exceptional talent

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)

  • 4-year certification or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 2 years of experience working with risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/conveying analytical experiences
  • 2 years of experience working with design teams that form data foundation and ML models
  • 2 years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard workweeks as accelerations require

Preferred Qualifications

* Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)

  • 2 years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities
  • Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab
  • Exceptional influencing and leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Outstanding business judgment, critical and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action with the ability to work in a rapidly changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty through quantitative insights
