Responsibilities As a Part-Time Customer Service and Administrative Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our tax clients, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and accurately. Your key responsibilities will include: * Handling inbound and outbound calls to assist clients with inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and text * Performing data entry tasks to update customer information in our system * Notating each interaction with client, adding files to client portal, preparing forms * Helping resolve client issues in a timely manner with patience and professionalism * Working with colleagues to ensure top-notch customer service Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications: * Computer Proficiency: You must be very good with computers, efficient with Windows, Microsoft Suite (particularly Outlook), Adobe or other pdf-related software, and file management. You'll be required to pass a Computer Proficient Test as part of the selection process. * Customer Service Experience: You'll need to have a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. * Tax Experience: While tax experience is preferred, it's not required. We'll provide training to ensure you're equipped to handle tax-related inquiries and concerns. * Performing Under Pressure: You'll need to be able to work well under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude even in high-stress situations. * Excellent Communication Skills: You'll need to possess excellent communication skills, with a friendly and positive attitude. * Solution-Oriented: You'll need to be able to problem-solve effectively, thinking creatively to resolve client issues. * Organized and Prioritization: You'll need to be organized and able to prioritize important tasks, managing your time effectively to meet deadlines. * Self-Motivated and Team Player: You'll need to be self-motivated, able to work independently, and a great team player, collaborating with colleagues to achieve our team goals. Paid Training We're committed to ensuring you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. Our paid training program includes: * 1 week of training at $15 per hour for 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday * Pay increases to $17 per hour after training Schedule As a Part-Time Customer Service and Administrative Assistant, you'll work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with a maximum of 35 hours. You'll have flexible hours, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.
