Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound telephone calls, ensuring a high-quality experience for both internal and external customers
• Working closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and customizing arenaflex programs and services to meet their requirements
• Ensuring accurate account setup, maintenance, and closure of all customer account information
• Handling customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner, following arenaflex's customer complaint resolution policy
• Performing soft collections for customers on credit hold or past due, as well as some cash handling
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1+ year of customer service experience
• Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• Strong organizational skills, with experience in typing and data entry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with colleagues and customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting customer needs

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• Experience in the propane or energy industry
• Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
• Certification in customer service or a related field
• Fluency in multiple languages
