Role Overview

As a Virtual Assistant / Airbnb Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and assisting with various aspects of our short-term rental business. This includes:

  • Guest and reservation management: You will be responsible for processing reservations, managing guest communications, and ensuring that all guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Virtual property management: You will work closely with our property owners and managers to ensure that all properties are properly maintained, and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Cleaner management, scheduling, and coordination: You will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating with our cleaning team to ensure that all properties are cleaned and ready for guests.
  • Addressing guest issues and resolving them in a timely and efficient manner: You will be the primary point of contact for guests who have issues or concerns, and you will work to resolve these issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Providing accurate information about the properties and neighborhoods: You will be responsible for providing guests with accurate and up-to-date information about the properties and neighborhoods they are visiting.

Key Responsibilities

* Guest and reservation management: + Process reservations and manage guest communications + Ensure that all guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience + Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner

  • Virtual property management:

+ Work closely with property owners and managers to ensure that all properties are properly maintained + Address any issues or concerns related to properties in a timely and efficient manner

  • Cleaner management, scheduling, and coordination:

+ Schedule and coordinate with our cleaning team to ensure that all properties are cleaned and ready for guests + Ensure that all cleaning services are provided in a timely and efficient manner

  • Addressing guest issues and resolving them in a timely and efficient manner:

+ Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner + Work to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, while also ensuring that guests are satisfied with the outcome

  • Providing accurate information about the properties and neighborhoods:

+ Provide guests with accurate and up-to-date information about the properties and neighborhoods they are visiting + Ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date, and that guests have a clear understanding of the properties and neighborhoods

Success Metrics

* Maintain a quick response rate to all inquiries: You will be expected to respond to all guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, and to resolve any issues or concerns quickly and efficiently.

  • Resolve all guest issues with a high sense of urgency in less than 3 hours or ASAP: You will be expected to resolve all guest issues quickly and efficiently, and to ensure that guests are satisfied with the outcome.
  • Contribute to a review rating of 4.8 or higher: You will be expected to contribute to a review rating of 4.8 or higher, by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of customer service experience: You will need to have at least 2 years of experience in customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

  • 2+ years of vacation rental customer service or hotel experience: You will need to have at least 2 years of experience in vacation rental customer service or hotel experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Must be available to work during normal U.S. business hours: You will need to be available to work during normal U.S. business hours, which includes evenings and weekends.
  • Experience with Airbnb customer service: While not required, experience with Airbnb customer service is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work with multiple technology platforms in a fast-paced environment and learn new technologies as needed: You will need to be able to work with multiple technology platforms, including Airbnb, and to learn new technologies as needed.
