Live Event Sales Representative
Sales Executive – Dobil Live Events (Corporate Events & Production) Dobil is seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Sales Executive to grow our Live Events division by securing new corporate clients and strategic event partners. This role is built for someone with a corporate event planning background who understands how events are scoped, sold, and executed, and is ready to turn that experience into a high-performing sales career. Unlike traditional venue-based roles, this position focuses on net-new business development, targeting corporate event teams and event platforms (e.g., CVENT, BoomPop) to become their go-to event technology and production partner. What You’ll Do
- Proactively develop new business through outbound prospecting, including:
- Corporate event teams, marketing departments, and internal planners
- Event platforms and agencies (CVENT, BoomPop, etc.)
- Build trust and credibility with clients by leveraging your event planning experience
- Position Dobil as a preferred production and AV partner for off-site and standalone events
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract execution
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, with a focus on consistent activity early on
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and repeat business
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts into long-term, repeat clients
What Success Looks Like First 6–12 Months:
- High outbound activity (calls, meetings, new relationships)
- Strong pipeline development across target accounts
- Early wins in the $15K–$30K range with progression toward larger opportunities
Longer Term:
- Consistent revenue production with a mix of mid-size and high-value ($100K+) events
- Development of repeat clients and trusted relationships
- Positioning Dobil as a go-to partner within key accounts and platforms
Who You Are
- Background in corporate event planning, meeting planning, or event production (required)
- Strong interest in or experience with sales, business development, or client acquisition
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and building relationships from scratch
- Able to speak confidently about event logistics, production, and client expectations
- Consultative and relationship-driven, but not afraid to ask for the business
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
