A temporary opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telehealth and specialty care to support an initial Individualized Education Program (IEP) review. This contract role involves providing expert nursing consultation by reviewing medical records and contributing a detailed medical history summary to the IEP report. Location: Goleta, CA (Virtual participation acceptable) Responsibilities include:
- Thorough review of student medical records relevant to the IEP
- Preparation of a comprehensive medical history summary to inform the IEP team
- Participation in the IEP consultation process to provide nursing insights and recommendations
Desired qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience in Telehealth nursing and/or specialty nursing fields
- Ability to analyze and summarize medical information clearly and accurately
- Strong communication skills for contributing to multi-disciplinary educational meetings
- Comfort with virtual consultation platforms for remote engagement
