Job Summary

As a Data Entry Operator II, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently transcribing data into a format suitable for computer processing. This role requires the application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed, and searching for, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources. You'll work from home, accessing work queues and reviewing computer images of documents to verify and correct information as needed.

Responsibilities

* Logs into a computer and accesses work queues to review computer images of documents and code documents using an established list of codes.

  • Verifies, if required, whether previously extracted information is correct and makes corrections to previously extracted information as needed.
  • Adjusts orientation or lighting of documents as necessary.
  • References work instructions as needed.
  • Attends mandatory meetings and trainings, works scheduled overtime with minimal notice, and performs other duties as assigned per business needs.

Onboarding & Training Schedule

Our onboarding process is designed to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. Here's an overview of our onboarding and training schedule:

  • Orientation: Remote orientation will take place on December 2, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
  • Onsite Training: Following the remote orientation, you'll attend onsite training for one week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
  • Home-Based Training: After onsite training, you'll continue your training from home, working from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, dependent on clearance processing, for an additional five weeks.

Regular Schedule

As a Data Entry Operator II, you'll work from home, and your regular schedule can be worked anytime between 4:00 AM and 6:30 PM. Overtime can be expected regularly throughout the week and on Saturdays when needed.

Qualification Requirements

To perform this job successfully, you should demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Able to maintain confidential information.
  • Successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Able to type 8,000 keystrokes per hour.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.

  • Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to type 8,000 keystrokes per hour.
