Experienced Customer Service Representative – Outside Plant Infrastructure Equipment

Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers to provide information, resolve complaints, and build long-lasting relationships. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, processing orders, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. Key Responsibilities:

* Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions, providing information, and suggesting relevant solutions

  • Receive and place customer service telephone calls, responding to inquiries and resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Open customer accounts in Oracle, maintaining accurate records and updating information as required
  • Process orders, including entering customer orders and managing inventory levels
  • Recommend potential products or services to the manager by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including accounting, manufacturing planners, shipping, sales, and engineering to resolve issues associated with open/closed orders and posted lead times
  • Clarify customer complaints, maintain records, and follow up with the engineering and QC team to ensure correction and resolution
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results and completing special projects as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

* Oracle Software knowledge preferred

  • Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ISO sections relevant to the position
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on building long-lasting relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook
  • Product knowledge, market/industry knowledge, documentation skills, phone skills, and quality-focused approach

Qualifications:

* Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • College degree preferred
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering results
  • Quick learner, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

* Sitting, standing, and walking (up to continuously)

  • Air travel
  • Frequent use of computer and telephone requiring finger, hand, and arm movement
  • Occasional carrying of office supplies and other miscellaneous items up to 30/50 pounds
  • Continuous use of seeing, hearing, and verbal communication

Working Conditions:

* Working in an office setting indoors

  • Frequent exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures
