Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Customer Support Specialist to join our team as a Service Technician. As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, troubleshooting and repairing soft drink fountain machines, and maintaining refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance. This is a part-time role, with a flexible schedule that includes occasional weekend and holiday work.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment according to arenaflex standards
- Investigate and diagnose issues with pop fountain equipment, including refrigeration systems
- Maintain all refrigeration equipment in good working condition, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
- Move equipment to perform all mechanical services on fountain hardware, including preventative maintenance, software updates, and cosmetic repairs
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment
Essential Qualifications
* Secondary School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Technical aptitude and ability to repair machines
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Adaptability to work on weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering)
- Previous experience in customer service or technical support
- Knowledge of soft drink fountain equipment and refrigeration systems
- Certification in a related field (e.g., HVAC, electrical)
