Job Summary
We're seeking experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Representatives to join our remote team at arenaflex. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, resolving member and provider issues, and providing empathetic customer service. Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering questions and handling problems regarding pharmacy benefits, providers, or claim issues
- Handling inbound calls and making outbound calls to follow up with members, providers, and pharmacies as necessary
- Spending approximately 90% of your time on the phones, providing empathetic customer service to our members and customers
- Seeking approval for overrides and prior authorizations as needed and entering them into the claims system
- Monitoring pharmacy claims processing and completing data entry of member records
- Other duties or special projects may be assigned as necessary
Schedule and Work Environment
* Shift Range: 9AM to 5PM, 12:30PM to 8:30PM, 1PM to 9PM | Monday to Friday
- Shifts are consistently assigned based on business needs.
- Must be open to rotating Saturdays (9AM to 1PM)
- Work from home (WFH) with equipment provided by arenaflex
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 1+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry
- A pharmacy technician certification is highly preferred (inactive also applies)
- 1+ year(s) of PBM or health benefits experience
- Experience in working in a high-volume call center is highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
