Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families, responding to their questions and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner
- Collecting and verifying patient and insurance information, using our advanced technology platform to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Working in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, to assist patients with their registration and provide support as needed
- Collaborating with our clinical teams to ensure seamless communication and care coordination
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest healthcare trends and technologies
Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing warm and empathetic support to patients and families
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, and adapt to changing circumstances
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn our technology platform quickly
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient registration or customer service
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and insurance plans
- Certification in customer service or a related field
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
