Job Summary:

As a Retail Sales Associate – Customer Service & Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our brand, responsible for providing top-notch customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You'll work closely with our customers, answering their questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage with customers and provide assistance with products and services, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including counters, shelves, and inventory.
  • Implement arenaflex's asset protection strategies to prevent and reduce losses.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national laws regarding regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
  • Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
  • Assist with the separation of food products and product placement, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer support in the photo center, including printing and scanning services.
  • Assume net pickup responsibilities, monitoring orders and filling them as needed.
  • Assist with outdoor and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store environment.

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Six months of experience in a retail environment.

  • Prior experience with arenaflex or a similar retail pharmacy chain.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
