Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled Data Entry Clerk to join our Help Desk team. The ideal candidate will have excellent data entry skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer support. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in maintaining accurate data in various systems and databases, responding to customer inquiries, and troubleshooting basic technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk – Help Desk Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data in various systems and databases
  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical assistance via email, phone, and chat
  • Troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Following up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved satisfactorily
  • Assisting in generating reports and compiling data for analysis
  • Supporting administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position
  • Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with help desk software and remote support tools is a plus
