Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk with arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Entering data into appropriate fields, including databases, records, and files, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Transferring data from paper formats via computer, recorders, or scanners, utilizing your exceptional typing skills and knowledge of data entry equipment
  • Handling numerical data accurately, creating spreadsheets, and organizing large datasets with ease
  • Curating data directly from speech or interviews, utilizing your strong verbal communication skills and ability to accurately transcribe information
  • Updating databases or records with new information as it becomes available, ensuring that our data is always up-to-date and accurate
  • Correcting and modifying inaccurate files and records, utilizing your analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Typing data directly and accurately, utilizing your fast and accurate typing skills
  • Complying with security backups and regular checks to ensure that our data is saved and stored properly, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of our customer and client information
  • Summarizing data for standardized reports, utilizing your analytical skills and ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Viewing and verifying confidential or private customer/client information, protecting the information and identities of our customers and clients
  • Verifying data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation, ensuring that our data is accurate and reliable
  • Organizing paper formats, paper backups, and material source files as needed, maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Accurate and precise attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively
  • Skilled knowledge in generating process documentation, with the ability to create clear and concise documentation
  • Ability to assist team members when needed to accomplish team goals, working collaboratively with our staff to achieve our objectives
  • Fast and accurate typing skills, with the ability to type at a high speed and accuracy
  • Ability to speak confidently, clearly, and professionally for voice recording data, utilizing your strong verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of data confidentiality principles and the ability to follow them to the letter, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of our customer and client information
  • High school diploma; associate's degree, or bachelor degree in business, administration, or a related field is not required but preferred
  • Prior experience handling data entry responsibilities or equivalent experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of data entry processes and procedures
  • Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively
  • Willingness to learn and to grow with the company, with a strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision, with a strong sense of independence and self-motivation
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly of Excel spreadsheets, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and perform data analysis
  • Pays strong attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
  • Knowledge of touch typing system preferred, with the ability to type at a high speed and accuracy
