Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Trip Assignment Specialist to join our evening shift team, working remotely from home. As a Trip Assignment Specialist, you will be responsible for assigning trips to dispatchers and Care Partners on a nightly basis, as well as answering calls and coordinating trips that come in during the evening hours. Responsibilities

As a Trip Assignment Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Assign trips to dispatchers in the Health-E Rides system (approximately 700-900 per night)
  • Build dispatchers' daily schedules with breaks and lunches taken into consideration
  • Stack trips to contracted Care Partners
  • Answer inbound calls from members during evening hours
  • Coordinate evening trips as they come in
  • Assist with Care Partner-related administrative tasks, such as payment processing
  • Assist with Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation
  • Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required
  • Consistently reliable and able to work evening shifts (Monday night to Friday night, 11:30pm to 8am PT)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Health-E Rides and Zendesk systems
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
