Responsibilities

As a Chat Support Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients via email and live chat. Your primary duties will include:

  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries via email and live chat, ensuring that customers receive accurate, valid, and complete information.
  • Resolving customer complaints and escalating issues as needed, working closely with other departments to ensure seamless resolution.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions and transactions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Following up on customer interactions to ensure their satisfaction, providing proactive solutions to prevent future issues.
  • Achieving and maintaining established performance metrics, meeting or exceeding targets for customer satisfaction and resolution rates.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve customer issues, ensuring that customers receive comprehensive support.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with chat software similar to Facebook Messenger, with the ability to navigate and utilize various platforms.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office, Google Suite, and other productivity tools.
  • Access to a laptop, phone, or tablet, and a reliable internet connection.
  • Basic English writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing.
