Remote Pre-Award Budget and Financial Analyst Employment Type: 6-month contract to hire, Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and negotiate detailed clinical trial budgets for industry-sponsored studies.
- Provide support for budgeting on investigator-initiated studies as needed.
- Review study protocols to identify cost drivers and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with study teams, clinical departments, and external partners to validate budget assumptions.
- Communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders without financial backgrounds.
- Ensure alignment between budget components, study requirements, and contract terms.
- Maintain regular communication with study teams in a fully remote work environment.
Additional Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience; 5 years preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain financial data clearly to non-financial teams
- Strong time-management skills and ability to excel in a remote setting
- Comfortable interfacing frequently with study team.
Location Requirements This is a fully remote position; however, candidates cannot reside in: Alaska (AK), California (CA), Connecticut (CT), Mississippi (MS), Missouri (MO), Montana (MT), Nevada (NV), New Mexico (NM), North Dakota (ND), South Dakota (SD), Wyoming (WY) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
