Experienced Customer Service Representative – Student Loan Support

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to students and graduates on the phone, through chat, or email
  • Answering questions and resolving issues related to student loans, including payment plans, deferments, and forbearance
  • Educating customers on their loan options and providing guidance on how to manage their debt
  • Working collaboratively with senior agents and supervisors to resolve complex issues and provide support to customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information in our database
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to obtain Federal Security Clearance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers and colleagues in a fair and friendly manner
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to reside within 50 miles of arenaflex Headquarters: 304 Northcreek Blvd. Goodlettsville, TN 37072

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field
  • Knowledge of student loan regulations and policies
  • Experience working in a call center or remote environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

  • Ability to follow all rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures in all situations
