Responsibilities

As a Remote Chat Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries through chat in a timely and professional manner, using excellent written communication skills to quickly and accurately respond to customer queries.
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints with empathy and patience, handling challenging customers and diffusing tense situations with ease.
  • Providing product and service information to customers, educating them about our products and services and answering any questions they may have.
  • Collaborating with team members to resolve customer issues efficiently, working collaboratively to solve customer problems.
  • Documenting all customer interactions and maintaining accurate customer records, using excellent record-keeping skills to accurately document all customer interactions.
  • Meeting or exceeding customer service goals and targets, consistently delivering exceptional customer service and meeting or exceeding customer service targets set by the company.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong communication skills with excellent written English, able to communicate clearly and concisely through chat.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, handling multiple customer inquiries simultaneously and prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
  • Experience in a customer service or support role, although previous experience is not required.
  • Comfortable using computers and software applications, including chat software, email, and customer relationship management software.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, being self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to quickly and accurately identify and resolve customer issues.
