You will work closely with our Digital Technology team to design, develop, and implement data protection and privacy solutions that meet the highest standards of security and compliance.

Job Responsibilities

As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and implementing data protection and privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations
  • Designing and developing data protection and privacy solutions that meet the highest standards of security and compliance
  • Collaborating with our Digital Technology team to identify and mitigate data protection and privacy risks
  • Providing training and support to employees on data protection and privacy best practices
  • Conducting regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
  • Developing and implementing incident response plans to address data breaches and other security incidents
  • Collaborating with our compliance team to ensure that all data protection and privacy policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
  • A deep understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, including local, national, and international regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management and employees
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is a critical aspect of this role

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:

  • CISA certification
  • Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
  • Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
  • Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
  • Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products
  • Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its impact on risk and/or average effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity program
